Goodby analog network

by Computer Repair on July 11, 2013

I was reading about how the telephone companies would like to abandon their land lines rather than repairing them when they stop working. ┬áThe companies claim the cost to maintain these lines (or network ie telephone network) is not worth it given the cell phone or radio network they have in place. My observation is that standing in the middle of a multi million dollar home I’ve seen the absolute worst internet access. This has happened to me in Tiburon, Marinwood, Sausalito, San Anselmo and even San Rafael. If we were truly clever we would replace the copper with fiber, keep in mind the network should be everywhere people are and not where people will be.
